Barcode identification scheme

  • Width measurement method: In the decoding process of image mode, the traditional pulse measurement method is no longer used to measure the width, but the actual bar is determined by recording the number of pixels contained in the width of each bar or space. / Empty width, which determines the information represented by the entire barcode symbol.
  • Average method: measure the entire width from the start symbol to the end symbol in the barcode symbol image, and then divide it by the 95 standard width to obtain the pixel column width contained in the unit module, and then measure the actual width of each bar space separately. Width is calculated in units of width
  • Similar edge distance measurement method: The design idea of this method is to determine the logical value of the character by measuring the distance between the similar edges of adjacent elements in the symbol, rather than the actual measurement value of the width of each element.
